Founder & Director

Alex established Ashtree Equine Rehabilitation in 2022, deciding to follow a lifelong passion of working with horses. With a particular interest in retraining racehorses, she loves watching each horse's individual journey through their education and seeing relationships blossom between horse and human.
Jess
Head Rider
​
Jess originally joined the AER team on a temporary basis in the summer of 2023, before realising she fit like a glove! Since then, she has come to join us permanently as our Head Rider and we couldn't be happier. Jess is q kind and quiet rider with a fantastic feel for horses, and having produced her current horse up to 3* level you can be sure that your horse will be in capable hands.
Chloe
Head Groom

Chloe has spent the best part of a decade as a professional polo groom, before recently deciding to make the transition to join us as our Head Groom. With an unrivalled work ethic and a wealth of knowledge around horse management, Chloe will always go above and beyond to ensure each of our horses is in the best possible condition.
